Jeremias Murillo
Hospital Epidemiologist and Medical Director of Infection Control and Epidemiology
Saint Barnabas Health Care System
Dr. Murillo is the Vice President for Clinical Services for the Saint Barnabas Health Care System. He was formerly the Hospital Epidemiologist of NBIMC and Director of Pediatric Infectious Diseases at the Children’s Hospital of New Jersey.

Dr. Murillo received his medical degree from the Cebu Institute of Medicine in the Philippines and was trained in Pediatrics at The New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center. He completed his infectious diseases fellowship under the combined program of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and NBIMC. Dr. Murillo is board-certified in pediatrics and in infectious diseases. He also received a certificate of special training in hospital epidemiology at the University of Minnesota. He is the Vice President of the medical staff at NBIMC and Secretary Treasurer of the New York Society of Tropical Medicine. He was a past president of the Infectious Diseases Society of New Jersey and served in the Boards of the Academy of Medicine of New Jersey and the Infectious Diseases Society of New Jersey.
