Hunt Batjer, M.D.
Dr. Hunt Batjer is chair of the Department of Neurosurgery at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. He is also the Michael J. Marchese Professor of Neurosurgery and chairman of the Department of Neurological Surgery at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine. Dr. Batjer attended medical school at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas followed by a residency at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas. He went on to a fellowship at West Ontario University Hospital in Canada and The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery in London. Dr. Batjer is recognized internationally as a leading cerebrovascular surgeon, especially for complex aneurysms, vascular malformations, and brain ischemic states.
