Gwen Scott is a board-certified orthopedic clinical specialist and has worked at the outpatient physical therapy clinic at Harborview Medical Center since 2000.  Gwen sees patients with injuries ranging from post-trauma fractures to chronic back pain. One of her special interests is working with athletes, specifically endurance athletes. Gwen's personal background in athletics started with tennis, soccer, and swimming. Once she entered her 30s, Gwen discovered long-distance running, and has finished 11 marathons, eight 50K races, nine 50-mile races and four 100-mile races. Her most notable achievements would be winning the Bighorn Mountain 50-mile race (female division), becoming the first female master at the Seattle Marathon and coming in second at the Bighorn 100 and Cascade Crest 100 races. Gwen is a member of the Seattle Fleet Feet Ultra Running Team and loves all things running.
