Gale Fisher
Treated for Claudication

Gale suffered from pain in her legs for 8 years.  Over the years she had visited many doctors with differing opinions – some recommended back surgery while others simply told her there was nothing they could do.  When her condition had progressed so that it limited her walking to only three minutes, Gale still didn’t give up. She did a google search that brought up claudication, a condition similar to peripheral artery disease (PAD).  The description matched her symptoms exactly. She took the information to her general practitioner and asked him to test her.  The test was positive and she was referred to Dr. Benjamin Starnes.  Dr. Starnes performed minimally invasive surgery and today Gale has no pain and lives a very active lifestyle at age 71.
