Fay Horak, Ph.D.

Fay Horak is Professor in the Departments of Neurology, Physiology, and Biomedical Engineering of OHSU. A motor control neurophysiologist and physical therapist, Dr. Horak studies how the brain controls balance in the elderly and Parkinson patients. She is an internationally recognized expert on balance control who has been invited to give lectures throughout the world. Most recently, Dr. Horak and the OHSU Parkinson Center of Oregon have partnered to study the impact of exercise on patients with PD.
