Elie Mouhayar, M.D., F.A.C.C.
Dr. Elie Mouhayar is medical director of the Cardiopulmonary Center in the Division of Internal Medicine at The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center. He completed his medical degree at Lebanese University-Faculty of Medical Sciences in Beirut, Lebanon. Dr. Mouhayar went on to complete a clinical internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Staten Island University Hospital in Staten Island, New York followed by a fellowship in cardiology at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pennsylvania, and a mini-fellowship in Cardiovascular Computed Tomography at Johns Hopkins Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland. His research and clinical interests are in peripheral arterial disease (PAD) and cardiovascular imaging. Dr. Mouhayar is certified by the American Board of Vascular Medicine Certification, American Society of Echocardiography, American Board of Internal Medicine Cardiovascular Disease, American Society of Nuclear Cardiology, and the American Board of Internal Medicine.
