Edward Diethrich, M.D.
Dr. Diethrich is the Medical Director and Chief of Cardiovascular Surgery at the Arizona Heart Hospital, where he performs state-of-the-art endovascular procedures using the latest devices, many of which he helped design and test in clinical trials. Dr. Diethrich is a graduate of the Medical School at the University of Michigan. He completed his surgical residency training at St. Joseph's Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor and Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. After completing a two-year thoracic and cardiovascular surgery residency at the Baylor College of Medicine under the tutelage of famed heart surgeon, Dr. Michael DeBakey, he remained at Baylor as assistant professor in surgery for six years.
