Dr. Lin received his MD from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine Nashville, Tennessee in 1994. He then moved to the University of Washington for an internship in general surgery then residency in the Department of Urology and was Chief Resident 1999-2000. He then completed a Fellowship in Urologic Oncology in the Department of Urology, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City before completing a research fellowship at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center. He is now Chief of Urologic Oncology in the Department of Urology at the University of Washington with a clinical focus on genitourinary cancers, in particular prostate cancer. He leads several multi-institutional clinical trials in prostate cancer and receives funding for translational research with a specific focus on prostate cancer progression and prevention.
