Cryshelle Patterson, Ph.D.

Dr. Patterson is a clinical psychologist at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) Civitan-Sparks Clinics. She is co-director of the UAB Summer Treatment Program for children with behavioral disorders such as ADHD, Asperger’s syndrome and oppositional defiant disorder. Patterson’s research interests include
studying ADHD subgroup differences in behavior and social functioning in comparison to individuals with specific learning disabilities. Her clinical interests include working with children who have been diagnosed with a range of developmental disorders and emotional and behavioral difficulties. Patterson received her doctorate from the University of North Carolina, Greensboro in 2006.
