Dr. Gillespie is the inaugural Director of Interventional Pulmonary Medicine at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and Northwestern Memorial Hospital. At Northwestern he has a dual appointment to Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine and Thoracic Surgery.  He attended the Chicago Medical School and graduated in 2000 as a member of the Alpha-Omega-Alpha honor society. Dr. Gillespie then pursued his Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, followed by fellowship training in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.  He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, and Critical Care Medicine.
