Carlo Croce, M.D.
Director of the Human Cancer Genetics
The Ohio State University Medical Center
Dr. Croce received his medical degree from the University of Rome La Sapienza. He is now Director of the Human Cancer Genetics Program at Ohio State University as well as a Professor of Internal Medicine and Chairman of the Department of Molecular Virology, Immunology and Medical Genetics. His research targets early gene mutations that later lead to the development of cancer. This type of research has led to possible preventative treatments and the identification of the genes and alterations involved in different types of cancer.
