Bart Hodgens, Ph.D.

Dr. Hodgens is an assistant professor in the UAB Department of Psychology and a clinical psychologist and associate scientist at the Civitan International Research Center. Dr. Hodgens directs the UAB Summer Treatment Program (STP) for children ages 6 to 12 who have behavioral disorders such as Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Asperger’s Disorder, and Oppositional Defiant Disorder. He also teaches graduate level courses in the UAB Department of Psychology on methods of psychological assessment an treatment of children and adolescents. Dr. Hodgens earned his doctorate in clinical psychology from Auburn University in 1985.
