Barbara Scribner
Lung Cancer Survivor

Barbara Scribner began feeling a “heaviness” in her chest in the Fall of 2008.  Her family doctor ordered a CAT scan that showed a tiny spot on her left lung and was referred to a lung doctor that said they wanted to check it again in 6 months.  Barbara’s family doctor did not agree and immediately referred her to Dr. Christopher Wood.  The cancer had spread to her lymph nodes.  Barbara had chemotherapy followed by surgery to remove the lower lobe of her left lung. She is doing well today with no evidence of disease.
