Alberto De Hoyos, M.D.
Dr. Albert de Hoyos is a thoracic surgeon on the medical staff at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and assistant professor of Surgery at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. Dr. de Hoyos is also the director of the Center for Robotic and Minimally Invasive Thoracic Surgery and co-director of the Center for Complex Airway Surgery at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. Dr. de Hoyos attended medical school at the University Nuevo Leon, Monterrey Mexico. He completed his General Surgery Residency at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and his Cardiothoracic Surgery Residency at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Chicago. Dr. de Hoyos also completed a Minimally Invasive Thoracic and Foregut Surgery Fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He is board certified in General Surgery, Thoracic Surgery, Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, and Critical Care.
