Alan Geiss, MD, FACS, is a national leader in Lap-Band surgery, having performed over 2,000 procedures, recently making history. He is the director of the Laparoscopy Center and Laparoscopic Bariatric Center at the Center for Surgical Specialties at Syosset Hospital, which is part of the North Shore-LIJ Health System. He received his medical degree from The Chicago Medical School and completed his residency at The Cleveland Clinic Foundation.
