Andrew Schorr

Andrew Schorr is the founder of Patient Power, LLC and host of the Patient Power® radio programs and webcasts. He is a former television news reporter (WBTV/Charlotte), national television producer (PM/Evening Magazine, Group One Medical, and Newscope) and, since 1985, has been a pioneer in health communications. He is co-founder of HealthTalk. In 1996 he was diagnosed with a serious illness, chronic lymphocytic leukemia. Successful treatment has allowed him to lead a normal life and take no daily medicines.

Andrew's mission is to help patients and family members learn more about their health concern so they can make informed decisions and feel in control. Patient Power® services are a reflection of his passion.
